Creamed Chicken for Biscuits

This is a great recipe, so much better then the cream soup version. This is a keeper, and will make again, I didn’t add the almonds, my family does not like nuts in main dishes.

Veronica's Apple Pancakes

I thought the batter was a little thick, next time I will use 1 cup of flour and see how that works, I forgot the sugar, but I liked the tartness of the apples. And I used pumpkin pie spices. We enjoyed them.

Pumpkin Roll Cake

I’ve been making this for years, last year I made them a week before thanksgiving and froze the cakes, I wrapped them in plastic wrap and aluminum foil, works GREAT! I took them out in the afternoon and unwrapped and put them on a plate to thaw we had them for our dessert at dinner time.

Apple Squares

I doubled the recipe and baked it in a 9x13 cake pan. It’s an easy way to use up apples, the sugar and cinnamon topping was a little over powering. I followed the recipe, but next time I will cut back on the topping. They are more like a cake than bars, would be good with a whipped topping!

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

We loved this sauce. I made the sauce and poured it in a slow cooker; I didn’t have any chicken so I used pork chops, delicious! The mustard and honey came through but not over powering! Next time I will use chicken. I also think it would be good on cooked veggies.

Zucchini Cornbread Casserole

Very good and a good way to use zucchini, I didn’t change a thing, but next time I will omit the salt, there is a lot of salt in cheese. Will defiantly make this again. I didn't have any trouble with it being to moist, I would rather have it moist then too dry.

Zucchini Brownies

These brownies are good. I like the idea of the zucchini in them, a good way to use zucchini, specially this time of year. Kids don’t know they are getting some veggies. Thank for the recipe. I didn't frost them, just powdered sugar.

These are good, I think next time I make these I will cut down on the sugar, they browned quickly almost before they were cooked, will try again.

I was very disappointed in this recipe, the bars when warm are greasy and didn't have a cream cheese flavor. I was thought is was going to be more like a cheesecake. Won't make again...

Apricot Brown Sugar Ham

I made this for Easter. I used bitter orange preserves. I got wonderful reviews, just a hint of sweetness, a very nice combo. I think the apricot jam and brown sugar would be very sweet. Will make this the next time we have ham.

Creamy Lemon Pie

I made this for Easter, so-so reviews. Has a nice lemon flavor, I used a baked pie shell instead of a graham cracker shell. Not as good as the old-fashion lemon meringue pie.
