Delicata Creamy Squash Soup

Excellent. Simple ingredients make for a wonderful winter night soup. My husband said that this is his new favorite soup and that he wants it for Halloween. I only made one change. I substituted chicken stock for vegetable stock because that's what I had on hand.

Oven Fried Chicken II

Followed the directions almost exactly. I followed other suggestions and added about 1 tsp of hot sauce to the egg mixture and used butter instead of vegetable oil because that's what I had on hand. Definitely make sure each piece of chicken has room in the pan. I was worried it was not going to be crispy but it was crispy, moist and flavorful. My husband loved this!

Mama's Italian Wedding Soup

Wonderful! Very close to real wedding soup. Agree that to make the meatballs less time intensive, roll out the beef (or turkey, both work fine) into a long 'rope' then cut meatballs. Also makes it easier to keep them small.

It smelled wonderful but looked terrible. Also agree with other posters, bland bland bland. I don't think even salt could have helped it. Leftovers were really not tasty at all.

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

So easy and yet so good! The simple flavors compliment the fish very well. I followed previous advice and dredged the fish in the melted butter and poured the rest over it right before baking.

Pretty easy and pretty good! I agree with fellow posters who said the tortillas can get a little soggy. I, instead of cutting them, left them whole. This also cut down on the feeling of 'dip' versus main meal.

Linguine with White Clam Sauce I

This had absolutely no taste when made as the directions were specified. It didn't have enough sauce, or clams, and the taste was non-existent. Neither me or my husband enjoyed it one bit.

I agree with previous reviewers that there was too much pasta. But beyond that, there wasn't much to be impressed with. I really wanted to like it! It just didn't have enough flavor, sauce or uniqueness.

Turkey Burgers

I was really nervous about trying this recipe. I had worked with ground turkety before and had struggled to find recipes that weren't bland. This recipe solved that problem! Not only did they smell wonderful as they were cooking, they tasted amazing! I read the reviews and decided to omit salt and added about a 1/4 Italian breadcrumbs to keep the turkey together. Not only will I make this again, it will definitely be a consistent fixture at my house!

Jet Swirl Pizza Appetizers

This was a really easy recipe that turned out to be very tasty! My fiance loved it. Instead of the salami, I used sausage because that's what I had in the pantry and it added a whole new flavor to it.
