I am a grandmother of two beautiful granddaughters and love to ride my motorcycle with my husband. I enjoy canning but I really do not care about the gardening part because of my alergies. I have two beautiful dogs named Buddy and Snickers that keep me company during the winter days. I really love to bake and have been trying to bake a different cake each week or two. My favorite time to cook is Thanksgiving but since moving to Kentucky I have not had the chance because we go to my in-laws for the holiday. This year (2008) I will cook my customary Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday for a few family members so that they can see just how I really can cook. Making my very first carrot cake from scratch with marzipan carrots on top. My father-in-law actually thought they were real carrots. Teaching my oldest granddaughter how to make a pumpkin pie and forgot to put in the sugar. When we went to eat it it was TERRIBLE!!!!!
