About this Cook
I have been cooking since about the age of 7. Every since my mother showed me how to open a can. I have been experimenting ever since. I have lived several places in the country and lived for a year in Morocco courtesy USAF. I have lived in Florida, Arizona, California, and of course in Michigan. I enjoy local dishes and try to make them at home.
My favorite things to cook
Ham and eggs. French Toast. Italian dishes. Mexican dishes. Almost any thing with cheese in it or on it. I like to experiment with different herbs and spices . I like to make Creame Brule for my wife.

My cooking triumphs
We had some company come in and stayed for several days. I had taken some salmon out and needed to expand the amout of food to make up for the extra guests. I decided to put patatos, onions, mushrooms and some cheese that I had on hand. I wrapped it in tin foil and baked it for about an hour. I made some dill sauce with some sugar, balsamic vinegar, Whiskey, butter, salt and pepper, and of course fresh dill. It turned out very well, thank you. Everyone loved it. I substitute Balsamic vinegar for Lemon juice as my wife is allergic to citrus.
My cooking tragedies
I was making chili for a family dinner I grabbed the wrong spice can and put cinnamon in instead. We had to go out and eat as the chili could not be saved.
