Victoria Sponge Cake
I give this 3 stars for a few reasons. 1 - I wouldn't really consider this a "sponge" cake...2 - as others have said, the cooking time is not quite enough, it does take longer...and 3 - even though there are some issues, it is a very easy cake to make, it has a wonderful flavor and texture, and it can be dressed up in so many ways with powdered sugar, whipped cream, fresh fruit, compote...or any combination.

Chocolate Cheesecake
I really don't like cheesecake, but my husband and kids wanted one, so I made this. OMG! It was easy, beautiful, and it was the first cheesecake I actually LIKED! Thanks :)

Grandma VanDoren's White Bread
I have several recipes for white bread, and all of them are good, but they all lack something. Either it is too dense or it tastes "old" too fast, or some other thing that keeps me looking for another recipe. I think I have finally found it! This is super simple, especially for someone who enjoys NOT using a bread machine. The taste is phenomenal, and as long as you keep air from getting to it, as you would any other loaf of bread, it remains moist and flavorfull. After it cooled, I gave a piece to each of my kids and my husband, and they all agreed it was the best ever. Thanks for a great recipe!
