My cooking tragedies
*I was making spaghetti and was looking for onion powder. I grabbed a container that I thought was onion powder and put it in. When I tasted the sauce I realized that the sauce was pretty tangy. I looked at the container that I thought was onion powder and tasted a dab of it. It was Lemonade mix. Lemonade and spaghetti sauce are not a good mix.
*I was making lasagna. I had cooked the noodles, layed them flat, prepared the sauce, and layered everything into the dish. The dish was pretty full so I put the glass dish on top of a metal cookie sheet. I opened the oven to put the lasagna in and grabed the cookie sheet and not the dish. Nedless to say my lasagna that took me an hour to prep had slid off the side of the cookie sheet and fell, shattering to the floor. There was lasanga, glass, and sauce all over the place. I was not sad I dropped it I was sad that I spent so much time on it and I did not get to even try it. I learned my lesson and get teased about it all the time.
