Pork and Black Bean Stew

Nice taste, easy to make. Too much liquid though, I doubled the recipe but should not have doubled the chicken stock. Either that or add more beans.

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Very easy to make and very good flavour! I used a 3 pound chicken and cooked it on low for 8h. I used the foil balls to elevate the chicken, all the fat goes to the bottom.

Blackened Tilapia with Secret Hobo Spices

Too spicy for my girlfriend but I loved it. I served the fish on hamburger buns. My girlfriend put a bit of mayo to cover the spice. I fried my bun in oil and the leftover spice with some lemon juice, a real delight!

Lemon Coconut Squares

Very nice! Easy to make as well. I suggest using fresh lemon anr/or lime juice though and use a little bit less sugar (1/4 cup) for more citrus flavour.

Brown Sugar Shortbread

Very nice and easy shortbread. Better look at the bottom of the cookies rather than wait the 25 minutes depending on your oven. Makes a nice easy snack.

Owen's Peachy Pig Out

Very good mix of flavors, very tasty, I will certainly make this again. I added a peach half for each pork chop. I found the microwave quite suspect as cooking method so I browned the chops while I made the sauce in a saucepan, combined everything and put in the oven for 20 minutes, and added the peaches for the last couple of minutes.

Marinated Flank Steak

I used this for fajitas, and must say I was a bit dissapointed. Not bad at all but I was expecting something better given the great reviews.

Cranberry Sauce Chicken I

It was quite good, but I would change the proportions for the sauce as I couldn't really taste the cranberries. Perhaps 2 cups of cranberry sauce for 1/3 of French dressing?

Paprika Pork Chops

Very easy to make a quite tasty. The onion and sauerkraut mixture can also be used with many other meats. I added more paprika in the mixture instead of on the chops.
