About this Cook
I love food. There's nothing like reading a new cookbook and getting ideas. Years and years ago I began collecting local (preferably church or club) cookbooks during my travels. I firmly believe these contain the best recipes. I love experimenting with recipes and creating new ones all the time. Flavors and ingredients suggest different ideas and combinations which I love to try out.
My favorite things to cook
Without a doubt, my favorite things to make are cookies. I try to bake once a week for which my co-workers are grateful! I just enjoy the process of cooking and baking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I come from a family lineage of women who love to bake. Heirloom recipes interest me and I love trying out centuries old recipes passed down over the years. Those who know me always praise my baking and tell me that I should open a bakery; what I try to tell them is my sister is the better baker. She really is!

I made these for my dad who loves nuts. He proclaimed them "Great!". Very easy to make; this one's a keeper.
