About this Cook
I'm a former professional dancer, working in the NBA and then as a showgirl in Vegas, Miami, Tokyo and on cruise ships. Now that I've reached the retirement age of 40, I'm starting my own business, baking cookies! It's been my favorite pastime for since I was a little girl and now I'm sharing my love for yummy cookies with everyone. I'm married and have an 8-year-old son who is a successful actor/model.
My favorite things to cook
Cookies! I'm a natural baker but I'm getting used to whipping up actual meals.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Big, old school, fattening holiday meals are huge in my family.

My cooking tragedies
One of my first attempts at cooking a meal in attempt to impress a guy about 15 years ago led to disaster. I tried to deep fry onion rings but had turned up the oil too high and it overflowed, starting a fire...I burned his entire kitchen down. Poor guy! Needless to say, the relationship didn't last.

Buttermilk Chocolate Chip Cookies
Excellent cookies! I love that I only used a few ingredients and made them in about 30 minutes. I did take other's advice and added some vanilla. Turned out perfect!

Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies
I'm not sure what recipe everyone followed but it sure didn't turn out to be a 5-star cookie. I made the dough and dumped out right away. Even if I had frozen it as others have, I could tell it was WAY too sticky to work with. I don't get how everyone was able to use this horrible stuff! I tasted it and it was completely BLAH! No taste at all. I tried to add more sweet ingredients to liven it up and nothing helped. All I did was waste my baking supplies. Arrgh!

Caramel Brownies III
The concept is great and it almost works but the cake mix made it WAY too sugary for my family. Everyone agreed that it was just too gritty and sugary. If I made it again, I would just make regular brownies for the base, layered with caramel. The cake mix just doesn't work right.
