Cranberry Martini

This tastes like cherry cough syrup. I kept adding cranberry juice, but it just didn't help. I used triple sec for the orange liqueur. Maybe that was the problem??

Classic Spanish Sangria

I added apples, strawberries, and pineapple. Doubled the recipe, but used 1/2 the rum (Capt Morgan spiced rum)called for. SO GOOD, we drank every last drop!

Glazed Meatloaf I

This was a big hit with hubby and our friends. I used bread crumbs and added garlic powder and fresh ground pepper. We like onion a lot, so I used more of that. I also made more of the ketchup topping. Thanks for this great recipe!

Solid recipe, but I think it's better if you use a lot more onion than called for. I increased the onion to 1/3 cup for every 2 cups of potatoes.

Hot Spiced Cider

I used only 1 Tbsp brown sugar. Took a coffee filter and put the cloves and allspice in it, then tied with a twist. Used the crockpot, added the remaining ingredients to it and cooked on high for 1 hour; then turned to low 1 hour. Spiked it with Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum! EXCELLENT

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Excellent recipe--needs no improvement. My company loved it, and it was really easy to prepare. I didn't have skewers, so just grilled it on a wok type pan. Served it with pasta and a salad--perfect. Thanks for sharing!!

Fruit Pizza II

As others suggested, I added 3 Tbsp powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla to the cream cheese mixture, and used real whipped cream (lite) instead of the Cool Whip type. Otherwise, followed the recipe exactly. The Kiwi fruit made it a big hit, along with blueberries and strawberries. GREAT!

Easy Fruit Cobbler

Very good but not great. I added a dash of salt, teaspoon of vanilla, and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. The topping is cake like, but it's so easy to prepare, I will use it again.

This is a wonderful recipe. My only complaint was that the flavors from the marinade didn't really come through as well as I expected. I marinated the pork for 5 hours. Very tender though, and I will make it again.

Greek Pasta Salad I

I used less than half the oil and vinegar called for. I omitted the pepperoni and mushrooms. It was very good, especially because you can make it ahead of time. I used Barilla's whole grain "Pasta Plus" and no one complained.
