Eva's Ultimate Cinnamon Roll
About this Cook
I LOVE TO COOK! My dad was an incredible example, making dishes without exact measurements and always turning out FABULOUS! I loved the kitchen so much that I did Pampered Chef Kitchen Shows for 8 years. Now, I'm just a mom teaching my children the joys and wonderful world of cooking great food.
My favorite things to cook
Japanese cousine, Mexican cousine . . . wow - I can't possible narrow down the list.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Authentic Japanese for birthday celebrations
My cooking triumphs
The most decadent, sinfully delicious Cinnamon Rolls (which I am submitting), My Hearty Minestrone Soup, My dad's own recipe of Pancakes *YUMMY!* and his Japanese Dishes (including an authentic Terriyaki sauce, I have not found a recipe yet that even comes close to it.)
My cooking tragedies
I made a pot pie (when I was newly married (2 years) with a baby girl (now she's 8.) I wanted to put garlic into the pot pie and forgot, so I put it into the crust instead - -BIG MISTAKE, HUGE!! I ruined my husband on once an excellent recipe, he just cannot look, smell, or eat it ever since.

Apple Streusel Cobbler
I made this recipe for my daughters birthday - - and it was a HIT!..."Ooohh's & Aaaahhh's" Everyone raved over this recipe. I used my own homemade apple pie filling (32oz bottle instead of the 21oz can) so it gave more body to the recipe. I doubled the recipe (but not the sweetened condense milk) I served it with vanilla ice cream since it is very sweet, next time will drop the brown sugar to half. Trust me, it won't hurt the flavor or recipe at all! This is a KEEPER recipe! Thank you!

Mom's Country Gravy
I dropped the pepper by half. My family still commented on the "peppery" taste. As suggested by other reviews, I used 1/4 Cup Butter, 2 TBSP. Bacon Drippings (for the flavor) and 2 TBSP. Oil. Recipe turned out FABULOUS! THANK YOU!

Pumpkin Oatmeal
I have a larger family, so I did NOT microwave. I used water instead of milk, then just topped my bowl (and the children's too) with Half & Half, a rare treat. The pumpkin left a raw taste, so cooking it for additional 10 minutes helped tremendously! Which in turn allowed the spices to blend better, don't forget to salt it. The children still loved it and asked for it to made again. Note:Because recipe is not too sweet, some of my children added dried cranberries, some of them just added 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup. (yea, I have 6 children.)
