Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce

Excellent Kansas City style barbeque sauce! I did omit the salt because with the ketchup and tomato sauce it had plenty of sodium in it. Other than that, followed to a t. This is definitely better than the bottled sauce at the store and no preservatives!

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

I did use goats milk and spectrum trans fat free shortening. Instead of rolling, I just used a #12 foodservice scoop and got about 5 1/2 biscuits. I used a stand mixer to combine the ingredients. Made it easier and still got the delicious taste.

Easy Sugar Cookies

A little bit more cakey than I would like, but overall an outstanding flavour. I made these into massive sugar cookies. The only modification was to add a little bit of butter extract.

Boston Baked Beans

Spaghetti With Peanut Butter Sauce

Very enjoyable flavour. I did add an extra clove of garlic and used aji mirin instead of sesame oil. I think that this would benefit from maybe some plum sauce (even though that isn't Thai) for that PB& J flavour.

Pecan Sandies

As other reviewers have mentioned, they do taste like the Keebler Pecan sandies. I did double the vanilla and added butter extract. Didn't roll in the sugar at the end, but they came out very nicely.

Honey Crystal Almonds

I bought some premium nut mix at a large wholesale club. It was unsalted. So I used this to spruce it up. Easy to make, however I would caution that instead of using a slotted spoon to fish out the nuts, dump the whole thing on the parchment, then while after cooling slightly but still warm dump it in the plastic bag with the sugar, then back to the cookie sheet lines with fresh parchment. That way you can break up any big clumps and sprinkle it lightly with sea salt while it cools. That makes it 5 stars and easier to make as you are not fishing around for the nuts that way.

Extreme Chocolate Cake

Excellent crumb and texture. Very rich chocolately taste. I was skeptical because of how thin the batter was, but it was perfect. I frosted with eggnog frosting on the top. Delicious.

Yummy Eggnog Pie

Excellent flavour. Dusted mine with cinnamon and vanilla powder. I did use a 9.5 pie pan, as the filling is quite a lot. Also, I only had a 3oz package of pudding, not 4.6 oz. After chilling the pudding mixture, make sure to stir it very well then fold in with a third of the heavy cream. Then the remaining 2/3 of the heavy cream to keep it from being too deflated.

Peach Pound Cake

Very good. I did use the 1 and a half tsp of vanilla extract and 1/2 tsp of almond, as others suggested. Very nice. The peachy bits surrounded by cake were very delicious. My co-workers loved it.

Chocolate Velvet Ice Cream

Excellent. Haven't had ice cream in a long time due to lactose intolerance. Luckily I don't have any problem with heavy cream. This ice cream is great. Smooth and velvety. If you use your ice cream maker, it will churn for a long time due to the high fat content.
