About this Cook
I am 16 years old and has been cooking all my life - the easy stuff anyways, like eggs, bacon, ramen, etc. Does that even count? :P Well I just started REAL cooking around a year ago, if not less. It started with just baking cookies for my friends and boyfriend, then I started baking cakes and moving out of the "baked goods" rut I was in. I love to read, go on my computer (MYSPACE! lol), listen to music, play piano, and most of all - play volleyball and lacrosse!!!
My favorite things to cook
It's really simple but I love corned beef hash. It's amazingly easy and for some reason I have always been a sucker for corned beef. However, I love making a recipe for the first time - it's so much fun not knowing whether or not it'll be a success or a failure!

Adobo Chicken with Ginger
DELICIOUS! I'm giving this 4 stars because I didn't follow your recipe exactly. I had 5lb of quarter legs and, since I was simply too lazy to alter the recipe to fit 5lb, I just guessed. I used ground pepper instead of peppercorns. I went heavy on both the garlic and the pepper, since I am a huge fan of both. We didn't have bay leaves so I used the leaves on our lime tree in our backyard, which is what my mom usually uses when cooking. Turned out GREAT. I will make sure to have my Filipino friends try it to see what they think!

Banana Crumb Muffins
It was very good, but not the best. The only change I made was whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose. I made this for my parents as I myself am not too much of a bread person; next time I make it for them I will add walnuts.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken
Excellent! I made this last night for the kids I was babysitting - it's so easy to make and they LOVED it! So did I for that matter. I used chicken tenderloins instead of breasts cuz that's all they had. Simply delicious :)
