I am almost 29 years old and sad to say that I don't really cook all that often. Partly because I am a VERY picky eater. And my mother and I lived in an apartment that had a small kitchen. She wouldn't really let me in to help because she said that I was in the way. I understood. I can remember us tring to get breakfast in the mornings when I was younger. I would be tring to get ready for school and she for work. Those were the good old days. Now that my mother has passed away and I now have a daughter of my own I want to have her helping me as much as she can. I want her to be able to cook more then I can right now. I love to make Spaghetti and I love to bake cookies. My daughter is now 4 years old and I believe that she's at a great age to begin helping me in the kitchen. This year I plan on starting a new tradition. I will be baking all of our family cookies with her for Thanksgiving and Christmas. She loves to help now and I know she will love to play a more impotant role then she was allowed to last year.
