Green Bean Stir-Fry

Reviewed: May 17, 2009
I substituted soy nut butter, as I am allergic to peanuts and it turned out great! Super easy. Also didn't have sesame seeds, so left those out, but next time I will try it with them or at least sesame oil.

Really easy and delicious. The sour cream and provolone make it different than traditional ziti with ricotta. I will be making this again!

Cheese Garlic Biscuits II

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2008
These are really easy and really tasty. The consistency is a lot like RL. The only thing is they did stick to the pan so I am trying a batch right now on a greased pan. I am going to try other cheese-spice combos in the future. Thanks for this recipe!

I love this green bean casserole, and I normally don't care for it. The cracker topping and the sour cream make it a little different.

This was pretty good. I used chicken broth instead of water. I found that it had more flavor the next day.

These were very easy to make and tasted great! However, they are not exactly the macaroon I was looking for. I would make again, but maybe dip in chocolate next time.

Balsamic Tortellini

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2007
Great base recipe. Made some changes. I used turkey bacon bc thats all I had. I cooked it up with the onions and removed them from pan. Added some sliced mushrooms, olive oil and 1 tbsp of butter and sauteed until tender. Added a few TBSP of red wine while cooking the mushrooms. After the shrooms were tender, I added the bacon onion mixture back to the pan and mixed all with the tortellini and sprinkled with the balsamic. Topped with Italian cheese crumbles. YUMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

Corn, Sausage and Pepper Chowder

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2007
Good flavor, but I made some minor changes. I used a can of cream corn and half a bag of frozen whole kernel corn. Also skipped the red peppers because I didn't have any. The sauce was kinda thin. I din't have cornstarch so I added some flour to thicken it up a little. Was fairly easy and quick. I will be making this again!

Strawberry Yogurt Pie I

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2007
This recipe is super easy! And I also feel like its not TOO bad for you. I used Dannon Light and Fit Strawberry Yogurt and Lite Cool Whip to reduce the calories. I couldn't find fresh strawberries OR sliced frozen ones at my grocery store so I used frozen unsweetened mixed berries to mix in. Delicious! Not too sweet, yum. The only resaon I am not giving this 5 stars is because in the freezing process the pie filling got a little crystally...It was kinda wierd. Maybe next time I will try mixing in some gelatin so I don't have to put it in the freezer to set up. Thanks for the recipe!!!
