Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
Not great. Good flavor but the dough was too crumbly and so were the cookies. They didn't spread at all, so I flattened the last 2 pans. Made exactly 36 cookies.

Absolutely Ultimate Marinade

Reviewed: May 7, 2009
Really good marinade. Used it on boneless, skinless chicken breast and marinated for about 8 hours then grilled. Didn't have green onions on hand so I used a few shakes on onion powder in place on the onions. Also, used apple cider vinegar in place of red wine vinegar because that is what I had on hand. My family said it was delicious and something that made chicken taste different than "just chicken".

Blonde Brownies I

DELICIOUS! Just made for a rainy day activity. These are wonderful! I made these as per the recipe, except did not use nuts and instead STIRRED in 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips and 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips. They are so ooey inside with a perfect golden crispy top. These sliced beautifully. I will make these again and again.

This got rave rave rave reviews from my BF. He said it was moist and flaky and the Old Bay really gave it a great taste. This is simple and so easy. I followed the recipe exactly.

Vegetarian Tortilla Stew

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2009
SOO GOOD!! I was craving a bowl of hearty soup and this looked soo easy and I had just about everything on hand. I couldn't find the green enchilada sauce or salsa verde so I used the red enchilada sauce. I used black beans instead of pintos (2 cans) and decided to put in a can of green chilies. I was worried about it being to spicy and it was spicy! But this was sooo delicious. It was prepared in 20 minutes and I served this with sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese! This was just perfect. I can't wait to try the leftovers! BF had 2 bowls and contemplated a 3rd!

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
Boyfriend loved this... i boiled the sauce before pouring it on the chicken tenders, but it was still very watery. BF said it was yummy though. I did have some left over sauce and put that on the stove and reduced to a thick delicious syrup/dipping sauce. I actually drizzled it over fried rice! Delish!

Perfectly rich! This made my cake such a hit! It looked like a chocolate curtain on my Too Much Chocolate bundt cake. I loved this! Bet it would be great on doughnuts.

Pumpkin Flax Quickbread

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2008
Really Yummy. I replace 1 cup of sugar with granulated splenda. Sliced the loaf into 12 slices and individually wrapped each slice and froze for quick breakfast. Was worried that the bread would be rubbery because of the lack of fat in the recipe, but its very moist and flavorful. I baked for only 50 minutes.

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
This turned out perfectly! So yummy and addicting. Had people over to watch the opening ceremony of the Olympics and the whole batch was gone by the end. So so good. The only complaint that I have is that its pretty messy to make... hot sugar everywhere! Definitly use a BIG bowl for mixing the caramel.

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2008
Really good, but nothing to right home about. I did prebake the crust for 12 minutes, but it was still alittle soggy. I think I will use more spinach next time. I didn't hear any complaints or major compliments from my guests.

Hot Fudge Pudding Cake III

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2008
I was not super impressed with this recipe. I followed the recipe exactly except using 1 cup water/coffee instead of what recipe suggested. It was still plenty soupy at bottom. I think the cooking temperature is off. I cooked for 45 minutes at 350* and the top was burnt. Still, my guest had no problem eating it.

Neiman Marcus Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2008
Not the Neiman Marcus cookie, but with a slight stray from the recipe it was quite a hit. The batter was all crumbly and dry so I added about 2 tbsp of Bailey's Irish Cream and the batter came together great. They got eaten by all my guests and I loved them too!

Adrienne's Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2008
Really good. I was looking for a recipe that resembled my Grandma's cucumber salad that we had at almost every meal. This isn't quite it, but still quite yummy. Used alittle more dill and I just heated the sugar/vinegar/water til sugar dissolved - didn't boil. Better the next day.
