Sweet and Sour Meatballs II

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2011
Fantastic recipe! After reading some of the reviews with opinions on vinegar & how sweet it was, I cut back the amount of sugar to two tbsp and used white vinegar. It was fabulous! This really is a 5-star recipe- it's fast, easy, and had rave reviews from my husband and 4yo daughter. I think at one point they were described as "nuggets of deliciousness"... yes, it was that good. Cathy, props to you MIL for this recipe! For a little added heat, my husband and I added a little sriracha sauce.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

These are awesome! This was 90 minutes well spent with my 4 year old daughter (easy enough for her to participate), and the rolls are out of this world. Thank you so much!

Bok Bok Popovers

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2011
Fantastic recipe! My four year old daughter LOVED them and asked for them again! I made a few modifications based on what I had on hand: I used reduced fat cream cheese- worked great. I also reduced the amount of chicken and used refrigerated biscuits instead of the crescent rolls, but it worked great. I would love to serve these at a family brunch or dinner. I didn't read all the reviews, but has anyone tried making the filling and freezing it as a made-ahead meal? I think it would probably freeze well and be an inexpensive/easy go-to meal when time is an issue. I will be sharing this one with all my mom-friends! A great family friendly recipe!

This is the best adobo recipe I've found- it's just like what my in-laws serve, and it's very easy. Thanks!

Glazed Almond Bundt Cake

This is a great recipe and very easy. I also reduced my time in the oven and it came out great. I brought it to a MOPS group and they loved it- not a bite to take home!

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2009
This is a really great recipe! I only used half the chicken (leftover grilled) and it was great. My two-year-old liked it as well. I served it with a spinach salad and steamed carrots- certainly a winner!

Layered Eggplant Hamburger Casserole

This was great! Like others, I made a few modifications of my own, but all in all, it was a great success. Even my two-year-old ate well!

Thai Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2008
We loved this recipe! We also made a few adjustments for our taste- reduced soy sauce to 1/3 cup, used sriracha sauce, and only used 4 cloves of garlic. My husband and I are huge fans of Thai food, and this was as good, if not better than anything we have had in a restaurant. My only suggestion is to watch the heat on the sesame oil/ brown sugar step- it says medium/high heat, but I almost had a fire the first time around! It was easy to start over with a new pan, and I just reduced the heat to medium low and cranked the heat up once I had the onions (and added red & green peppers)in the pan. Fabulous- a new favorite in our home!

My hubby and I love this recipe. I cheat with the dough- I buy frozen dinner roll dough- it helps me keep them uniform in size.
