I am a happily married mother of two who loves food just a little too much... ie: I can stand to lose a few pounds, LOL! Anything! I come from a big southern family so cooking is more than a hobby it's a passion and a lifestyle. I always loved wayching my grandmother make popcorn balls when I was little, and also watching all the yummies her and my mom & aunts made for holidays. I have made one mostly successful baked alaska, conquered a mean pot roast & rost pork tenderloin, as well as pecan & pumpkin pies, which always fell for my grandmother. I cannot make pie crust!! It is just beyond me! I've also been known to burn a pancake or two... but we call those the pot warmers, LOL!
