About this Cook
I am a SAHM!
My favorite things to cook
tacos, lasagna, chicken stir fry, cookies, banana bread, brownies, you know easy stuff!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love when recipes are passed down from my grandparents. There are so many good recipes that I remember having as a child and now I get to make them for my family and friends!
My cooking triumphs
Learning how to customize the recipes to my families liking....add my own special touches!
My cooking tragedies
Baking rolls stuffed with potatoes, cheese and bacon and they were too full so they spilled all over to the bottom of the oven. Baking banana bread and forgetting about it and didnt set the timer so I burned it ;-(

Beef 'n' Green Bean Pie
This was very good!! We really enjoyed this meal. I used turkey instead of beef and added some parmesan cheese to the meat. Other than that small change, I folled the directions and it turned out great! Will be making again :)

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff
I think the whole packet of seasoning was a bit too much. My fiance and I both couldn't finish our plates. If I do make it again, I will for sure cut the packet in half. I also cut the cream cheese in half and added about a 1/3 cup of sour cream. I added peas and carrots.

Oaty Cereal Bars
First of all, this tatses very good!! I followed directions as posted and couldn't for the life of me get it to form into bars. (I ate mine with a fork.) Also, the amount it made didn't fill the 9x13 pan, so I had to move everything to one side.
