About this Cook
I'm a 21 year old stay at home mom of a handsome 1 year old boy. I became really interested in cooking within the last 2 years. My husband was a terrible eater before he met me (all he ate was hamburgers and french fries) now he loves trying new things. So, every week we try at least 2 new recipes.
My favorite things to cook
I absolutely love cooking Chinese and Italian! Not together but, I love love love Italian food. My husband insists that I was an Italian in a past life.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I dont really have any, but Im looking forward to starting my own.
My cooking triumphs
When my hubby finally said he liked seafood! I almost fell off my chair.
My cooking tragedies
I have many cooking tragedies, hahaha. Im terrible with anything in the oven, once I left rolls in the oven all through dinnner and we had a big cloud of smoke in the kitchen.

Spring Lime Tea Cookies
SO GOOD! As I write Im eating one of these light and fluffy cookies. I made the recipe exactly as stated and wow, the only thing I did not enjoy was the glaze. Thanks to my hubby, he said maybe I shhould only glaze a few and see how they taste, they were a hit! I will be making these again and soon, in a triple batch!

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup
Very good recipe, thanks for sharing! The only 2 things I did differently were 1 I used a store bought whole chicken and shreded it and 2 I used one can of chicken broth and one can of cream of chicken like other reviewers suggested. Very good, nice kick to it, going to be making this again very soon!

Coconut Loaf
SO GOOD! I followed the recipe to a T and my only complaint would be that the top gets a little too brown. I should have put foil on it for the first half of the baking time though. Really great with tea/coffee, all my friends loved it too!
