Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

I LOVE THIS RECIPE! it was so simple and easy to do. this was my first time making a turkey for some friends my husband and i invited over and they all raved about how moist the turkey came out. there was nothing left over at the end of the night except for the bones.

this was the best apple pie i've had in a long time. i did follow some of the other reviews and i added a top crust which made it delicious! my mom was blown away that i made it and people were asking me for the recipe. i will definitely make this again.

Better Than Best Fried Chicken

this was my first time making fried chicken by myself...now that i'm married and on my own. this was easier than i thought and wasn't at all that messy. i did add a few things from what other reviews said to add more flavor. i added a packet of chicken flavor similar to a bouillon cube, lots of garlic salt w/ parsley, and a little bit of onion powder. there was so much flavor it didn't need any dipping sauces. i would definitely make this again.

Chicken Piccata II

a lot of work and the batter part didn't stick very well. don't think i'd make again. UPDATE: i read other reviews and took their advice. i added olive oil with the butter and made sure the chicken was a deep golden brown before taking chicken out. i also doubled the sauce and added a little sugar to the sauce. this time it came out a lot better.

Oyster Sauce Chicken

THIS WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! I did add a little bit of onion powder to mine. I also used 5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts chopped up into cubes instead of wings and it still came out nicely. I prepared my dish as a meal so I cooked 4 cups of white rice and put it on the bottom of a 9x13" pan and then I put the finished Oyster Sauce Chicken on top and sprinkled on a little bit of sesame seed for look. It was delicious! I will absolutely make this dish again and again and again!

i've never made any kind of pie other than pumpkin and i usually bought the pre-made pies. this recipe seemed easy and looked delicious. and it was! it was very easy to make and i got rave reviews from my family. i will be making this again.

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

This dish had lots of flavor. I added chunks of onions since our favorite Chinese restaurant serves it that way. Sauce was a little runnier than I hoped and the chicken soaked up all the leftovers. Was a bit high maintenance, but was very delicious and worth the wait.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

LOVED IT! So simple and easy. None of the tastes over powered the others. The sauce was delicious. It was a little runnier than I thought a 'caramelized' look should be. Maybe next time I'll try what others said and cook the sauce for a bit before adding it with the chicken. But will definitely make this dish again! Thanks for sharing.

This recipe wasn't difficult to make, but it had a very strong seasoning taste. You can't really taste anything else. I would suggest lowering the amount of seasoning you add.
