Rhubarb Cake I

This was excellent! The only thing I would change would be to add more rhubarb. I added 3 cups and it could even use a little more. Thank you for the great recipe

Fruit Pizza II

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2008
Nothing but compliments I brought it to my in-laws house for a dessert on Easter. They loved it, it didn't last long at all. I did as others suggested and added vanilla and powdered sugar to the cool whip/cream cheese mixture. Looked great and tasted wonderful

Lavash Cracker Bread

Thank you. This is a wonderful recipe. Unfortunately I didn't have any wheat flour so I just used regular. I also used a pizza stone at 475 for about 5 minutes. They turned out wonderful. I also agree with using havarti cheese on top. Delicious.

Fabulous Wet Burritos

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2007
These were SO GOOD. I can't even write what my husband said about them. He loved them. I did as others said and instead of using cumin I added taco seasoning to the meat/bean mixture. I also cooked them until the cheese was melted. I will definitely make again and again. Thanks.

Parmesan Roasted Corn on the Cob

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2007
I love this recipe. The only thing I do differently is sprinkle the parmesan cheese after the corn is done cooking. Otherwise the cheese stuck to the tinfoil. Delicious.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2007
This was really good. I didn't change a thing except I omitted the nuts and added chocolate chips and/or cinnamon chips. Before I added the zucchini it was very dry. After adding the zucchini it was a perfect consistency. Very moist and delciious.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2007
I've been looking for a good meatloaf recipe and this is it. I used both crackers and italian bread crumbs. Also added 2-3 T of dijon mustard to the sauce which I put on top instead of the bottom. My husband asked what I put in it and then grabbed 2 helpings. He even said this is so good it doesn't need ketchup. Will definitely making again. I served with green beans and twice baked potatoes.

Original Homemade Italian Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2007
This is an excellent recipe. I used beer and reduced sodium broth instead of water. I too would suggest using just 1 packet of seasoning. It would be way too salty with 3. I added onions as well. Served on ciabatta bread with meunster or mozzarella cheese. Delicious.

Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon with Port Wine Sauce

This is an excellent recipe. Everyone loved it. I did make a few changes. I used shallots instead of onions and a merlot instead of port wine. Also sauteed some baby portabellos with the shallots. Everyone loved it. Definitely a keeper. Thanks

Bacon Cheese Treats

These were delicious and pretty easy. I brought them to a party and they went very fast. I did add some shredded cheddar cheese and used real bacon instead of bacon bits. Someone suggested adding a little hot sauce for extra flavor. Will definitely make again.

I love this recipe. It is so easy and delicious. I do add 1 can of diced tomatoes and use 2 cans of kidney beans and 2 cans of chili beans. I also add a habanero for more spice. So good topped with sour cream and cheese.

Zucchini and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2006
Very tasty. Used left over rice from the night before. Instead of steaming the zucchini I did saute in olive oil to keep it firmer. I also added more parmesan to add a little more flavor. Baked it for about 25 minutes and then put under the broiler until the top was crispy.

Very good. Husband loved it. I added garlic and onion to the spinach as others suggested. I also cut back on the blue cheese. Rolled the chicken in bread crumbs and fried in the bacon grease before baking. Will definitely make again.

Excellent recipe. Extremely easy and delicious. My husband gave it 4 1/2 stars. I gave it 4- only because of the pepper. I did cut it back a little. Next time I will cut pepper in half.
