My mom used to bake alot when I was a kid. I live so far from home now, that it became easier to just bake the stuff myself instead of waiting for her to send it when she had time. I like baking breads, cakes, and cookies. I'm starting to expand to cooking dinner type foods. Christmas Cookies, it's not christmas without them. Having my neice tell me that my peanut butter cookies were better than my mother's. I was making pumpkin pies, but I spilled the 2nd one all over the floor. I was laughing to hard to really care. I had frozen a cookie batter before baking because it was really tacky. They didn't spread right and ended up being jaw breakers after a couple of days.
