I love to bake and make desserts. I am typically a very healthy eater, but desserts always make people smile. I have a recipe for chocolate chip cookies that gets rave reviews. I make all my kids' birthday cakes. I really love cooking anything. For the last few christmases, I have given family members frozen rolls of my cookie dough. Each roll makes about 1 dozen cookies. Just pull it out of the freezer, let it sit on the counter for 10 minutes, slice and bake. They have fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies. Everyone looks forward to these gifts. I have made all the birthday cakes for my children, some of which I am very proud of. My favorite is probably the one I made for my son's army/camo party. I created a battle landscape with two opposing armies fighting across a river. I used tiny army figures and multi-colored icing. Once I dropped a cookie sheet that held two uncooked pecan pies as I was putting it into the oven. Sticky pecan pie filling poured all over my oven door. It was a HUGE mess. After all the years I have been baking, I still usually burn the first pan of cookies.
