About this Cook
I'm a 22 year-old housewife and a mother of a healthy, happy baby boy! I LOVE co0king meals f0r my hubby. I took up culinary lessons when i was 18.. Unfortunately, my schedule as a full-time psychology major student had to be prioritized at that time. Now that i have completed my bachelor's i plan to go back to studying culinary arts and become a chef.. Or maybe even just a go0d co0k.. wish me luck! :)
My favorite things to cook
Coming from a japanese descent amd growing up in a Filipino household, i guess i could say that asian co0king is my specialty
My favorite family cooking traditions
In the Philippines while growing up, Christmas dinner is held at 12midnight christmas eve. This tradition is called "noche buena".Now that i'm in the states and have my own family, I plan to carry on that tradition and have two Christmas dinners. It is after all, the season to eat and be merry! :D
My cooking triumphs
When me and my Husband, dave, started g0ing out we went to this Filipino restaurant where they served caldereta. The filipino version of beef stew. Dave loved this dish and since he knew i was a filipina, he begged me to make one. It to0k more than few tries to get my caldereta taste like that of the restaurant's. But when I finally perfected it.. He asked me to marry him! Guess I've proven that the way to a man's heart is really through his stomach! >:)
My cooking tragedies
I was 7 i think, when i tried to bake without an adult's supervision. I threw in the mixing bowl everything I could get my hands on.. Butter..Coffee..Vinegar.. it was a DISASTER! go0d thing my aunt caught me bef0re i could put the "batter" in the oven. It would've been much worse probably if she haven't. Although i still love experimenting with ingredients i try to be m0re practical about it. :D

I loved this recipe but HUbby wasn't very impressed with it. To each his own I guess. Best bet is to try it. Goodluck!

Maple Salmon
I love this salmon recipe. IT melts in your mouth. Next time I'm making it, I'll have to double the sauce. THANK YOU so much for sharing

Baked Salmon II
This is the only way I make my salmon now. It's soo good. Not to mention very easy. I do broil it for 3-4 mins after baking to given it a sort of crispy baked texture. mmm.MMM. Thanks for sharing the recipe
