Hail from Boston's Little Italy. Fled for the foot hills of cental NH almost 30 years ago. I'm a creative cook and have a small gift shop I run out of our home. And finally, I have "very advanced" communication skills! Now about the frog picture. This is Fiona, a little tree frog, not me! She moved into a potted plant we keep on the deck 2-1/2 years ago. She winters there just fine, and in late winter, just about the time the spring peepers come out of their deep freeze and start singing - Out Comes Fiona! She's a real kick and conversation piece! We're grateful she chose us to live with.

Big Fancy Italian dinners - meals that some people would never attempt. I love to cook like this for company and special ocassions.

Rich Italian dinners and desserts. I think this is why my Husband proposed to me! : )

My cooking tragedies
30 years ago - new bride - anxious to try new things - I thought I'd try fresh chestnuts in T'giving stuffing...Well...nobody told me that you need to cut an "X" in the shells before you bake them - I heard lots of noise coming from the oven and when I opened the door, I was peppered by chestnut projectiles...I think there's still chestnuts shrapnel in various crannies in that apartment to this day!
