My favorite things to cook
I adore baking with pumpkin and the attendant spices. It's the perfect antidote to the dip in temperature. The perfect snack after a walk on a brisk day has to have at least cinnamon and allspice in it.

Potato Soup
Very easy and very tasty! Perfect comfort food. I added a bit more milk and let it simmer a while to really let the flavours blend.

Simple Whole Wheat Bread
Easy to make but way too sweet. If I try it again I'll leave out the second dose of honey.

Almond Pear Muffins
These are more like little cakes. In itself not a bad thing but not quite a satisfying texture for muffins. They're dry and bland.
