Maryland Crab Soup

Wow!! This soup is fabulous. I made a few changes based on what other reviewers suggested: added celery, sauteed onion, celery and carrots in some olive oil prior to adding other ingredients, also added potatos. My husband went to school in Annapolis, MD so he has had his share of MD Crab Soup - this rivals the best of them and he can't stop raving. Thanks for a great recipe!

Easy Sausage Strata

This is delicious! I have been looking for a good strata that did not taste too "bready". Make it the day before and pop it into the oven in the morning. Yum!

Goat Cheese and Spinach Turkey Burgers

These were really yummy! I used Chavrie with basil and garlic. The amount of cheese called for in the recipe was just right - I tried it a second time with more and it was too strong. These are great cooked on the grill.

Crunchy Oven Fried Tilapia

This was good and easy and my family really liked it. I needed a little more of the flour mixture than the recipe called for so next time I will increase the flour to 1/3c. I did add some extra spices (garlic powder and seasoned salt) as suggested by others.

The Best Clam Sauce

Yummy!!! I used just 3 cans of clams and 1/4 c. butter then reduced all of the liquid from the clams. I added the clams just prior to serving as I was concerned about them becoming too chewy. Also added some red pepper during the onion cooking time. Easy and delicious!!

Mahogany Chicken Wings

These wings were a huge hit our latest party!! I tripled the recipe and cooked the wings with the sauce in multiple pans, raising the temperature to 400 after an hour to really brown the wings. I then transferred them to a crock pot with some of the sauce to keep warm. These were popular with young and old alike - not spicy at all.
