I am 23 years young. I have been married for 3 years and have two wonderful little boys. Ryan and Xavier. I have a passion for cooking and trying new recipes, especially now that I have picky eaters. I have 2 dogs, Pebbles and BamBam, and a cat, Gizmo. I also love doing photography.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook change all the time. I am in love with Italian foods, they are pretty challenging and tasty. Italian foods make the house smell wonderful and well, Italian.
My favorite family cooking traditions
That would definately have to be Thanksgiving and Christmas, sometimes Easter. We all get in the kitchen and do some cooking, and some flour fights.
My cooking triumphs
I am not a good baker, so I try and stay away from that unless I want to burn the house down. I recently made the best Chicken Alfredo, and made Swiss and Mushroom chicken breast with pan gravy over long grain wild rice.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I made brownies, I burned them and you needed a saw to cut them. But, my nieces liked them. I was also making french fries and tried to burn down the house. I don't like baking things. I love to COOK!!!

Italian Roast Beef I
I did this recipe on October 17, 2009. I used Italian seasoning and left out the red pepper flakes and the oil. I browned the beef for about 2 minutes on each side. I used 2 8oz. cans of Swanson Beef Broth and 1 can of water. I added baby red potatoes and baby carrots, with a sweet onion. I cooked on low for 10 hours, and it literally fell apart while I was trying to put it on a plate. Very good meal. I have a 3 year old and an 18 month old who loved this.
