I am the wife and mother of a gorgeous 3 year old son. All the cooking I do for my family has been passed down from the women in my family and I greatly enjoy making my husband and son smile with every meal I cook. The best compliment they can give is if they both go back for seconds... or thirds... or tenths... Being raised in Louisiana, I like to cook any thing that requires peppers. Cajun and Creole. And a few other Southern Comfort foods... For as long as I can remember, my dad and I have always made the Thanksgiving and Christmas stuffing...wonderful memories... My grandmother's recipe for Gizzards and tomato gravy over rice. I'll never forget it. Buttermilk bisquits in a non-electric oven... Cook until golden brown my left foot...! (We used them for hockey pucks later that evening.)
