About this Cook
I really love baking! I do. I wish I was better at it but I think I'm still a novice. So I try to learn as much as I can by reading articles & advice on my favorite recipe/cooking websites like Allrecipes and I really find them very helpful and informative. I also love browsing through pages of recipe books, they do have sensible tips and mouthwatering pics! Aside from baking, I also love eating Italian foods like pasta & pizza, salads and vinigrette, everything grilled and all kinds of seafoods. I just haven't found the time to make them myself. :) Hopefully someday I'd be able to attend culinary school and open up my own restaurant and bakeshop. For the mean time, watching cooking shows, collecting recipes, and baking to my heart's content would do. ;o)
My favorite things to cook
bread, cookies, brownies, muffins & cakes
My favorite family cooking traditions
backyard barbecue on weekends
My cooking triumphs
anything that put satisfied smiles on the faces of my loved ones that I cook for
My cooking tragedies
not having an electric mixer handy when I needed to whip up egg whites & sugar for icing; I used my hands & a good ol' wire whisk. :o)

Best Ever Muffins
The muffins turned out pale and a bit too bland... needs more flavor.

French Toast I
I did use thin slices of bread, and yes it turned out soggy... but we love them nonetheless! I might've used a little too much of nutmeg because it was very overpowering... will omit it next time. To prevent serious sticking, use a non-stick skillet.
