I was looking for a recipe for just the taco seasoning. This was it! I used it with a pound of ground beef. I did sprinkle the cornstarch on the beef mixture and added 2/3 cup hot water to the pan. Everyone loved them. Thanks, Bill.

Graham Cracker Crust I

This turned out perfect. I made Chocolate Cheesecake II submitted by Diane Young. I substituted chocolate graham cracker and it really was perfect! I used my food processor to make the crumbs. Fast and simple. Thanks for sharing.

Chocolate Cheesecake II

I had never tasted nor made a chocolate cheesecake. My quadraplegic brother said how much he loves it so, I tried this recipe with a couple of variations. I took the advice of one of the reviewers and used a can of cherry pie filling and lightened the topping by doubling the cream and just drizzling it over the top. WOW! The cheesecake was light and the topping really made it a decadent, delicious dessert. Thanks for sharing.

Easy, Speedy Corn Muffins

Made this last night with only one change. I took the advise of previous review and used an 8x8 pan. Everyone loved it with my homemade apple butter! Served it with a Slow Cooker Beef Stew. I am forever looking for different ways to fix cornbread. This is definitely a keeper. Thanks for sharing it

Country Herbed Meat Loaf

The best meatloaf I have ever had. The sauce was the kicker! Enough left over to dip herbed garlic bread twists in. Definitely a keeper. Thanks for sharing.

Grilled Rib Eye Steaks

Absolutely one of the best steaks we have ever eaten. The only thing I changed was to just add a Tbsp. of the adobo sauce as we needed it to be less spicy. Thanks for sharing a great recipe.

Homesteader Cornbread

I fixed this to go with pot roast recently. I followed the directions to the "T" and it came out very dense. It reminded me of "fry bread". I'll not fix it again. It did have a good flavor though if you like your cornbread on the heavier side.

Monday Morning Breakfast

I put this in a bowl and topped it with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream and salsa. Mmmmm good!!! Thanks for sharing it. I'll make it again, maybe as a breakfast burrito.

Double Layer Pumpkin Pie

I have never made "homemade" pies before. I made this for Thanksgiving and it was DECADENT! The only thing I did differently was I used a chocolate cookie crumb crust. Everyone raved over it! Problem was, I had no leftovers to enjoy. Now I have to turn in and make another one. Thanks for sharing.

World's Best Pumpkin Pie

This was my first attempt to make pies from "scratch". My 26 year old son loves pumpkin pie and came to me today and said that this was the best he had ever had. I will definitely make this again. Thanks for sharing it!
