Delicious, rich, really easy. So quick coming together. I prepped this before making Delicious Ham and Potato Soup (off this site), and they finished at the same time. I wanted a bread to go with my soup; I was out of yeast; I tried this and was delighted. I subbed 1/2 the flour for white whole wheat. Will make this again.

Easy, quick, and really really tasty. Between 3 adults, I had no leftovers. It was a great way for me to use leftover ham. Instead of bouillon, I boiled the veggies/ham in a can of chicken broth + water (to make 3-1/2 c) to lower the salt.

I don't think this would have been very tasty as written. As suggested by other reviewers, I tripled the spices (and garlic), used 1/2 c brown rice, and only 1 c cheese. Still, it was just okay. I'll eat the leftovers tomorrow, but I don't think anyone else will be joining me. DH cleaned his plate but suggested it tasted how he thought prison food might taste, should the prison garden experience a bumper crop of zucchini.
