Happily married for almost 30 yrs. We have 3 great kids, 2 girls and a son. My wife and I both work full time and do as much as we can to support our kids. ($$$$$$) :) OH, and I have 2 dogs that are very active. (Westies, see pic)
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy casseroles and I use the slow cooker. Our lives are fairly busy so both these methods work best. I do like the quick pan frying of fish, chicken, pork and steaks. Just a little seasoning and flipping and viola dinner. I also tend to use frozen veggies. (again, quick-easy)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Our family loves the traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings. I make a ziti bake handed down from my late mom in law with a few added changes that the family loves. Along with some nice crusty bread...and maybe a little wine. I also make a pretty good beef stew.
My cooking triumphs
I don't really consider anything I've done a triumph. Maybe to successfully cook a traditional Christmas dinner and get through with everything finishing on time and nothing burned. (like the cresent rolls!)
My cooking tragedies
The way I cook the tragedies are few and far between. I can't even think of one now but if I do I will update this with great detail. Hopefully it will be a fun learning type of tragedy.
