I'm a mother of three and married to the love of my life. I've grown up around food. My family used to own a local restaurant and we've be in the restaurant business for years. Most of the recipes that I have are ones passed down through the family. Traditional but still great! I love making desserts when I have the time to invest into it. Christmas baking. Every year all the women of the family go to my grandma's house and make all different christmas sweets to pass out to friends and family. Our specialty is Hard Tack Candy, my grandma has perfected her recipe and it's a big requested item from friends and family. Mastering Homemade Gravy!!! My husband loves sausage gravy and I tried several times to make it using everyones suggestions. The first time I just kept adding stuff and nothing worked it was like wallpaper glue! It also seemed to keep growing, I started in a small pan and ended up in my turkey roaster, It was awful, but my loving hubby ate it anyway. Now I've got it perfected after many trials and errors!
