I am first and foremost a mother to a wonderful 8 year old boy. A wife to a wonderful husband who has to eat all my experiments. I love to try new and different deserts. My mom always makes oatmeal cookies on Christmas eve. Every year she does this. And I must say they are the best I have ever had. I have never come close to her cookies.. Surpisingly I found I make pretty good cheesecake! When I was in 5th grade I took home ec and was very proud of the banana cream pie I made. I wanted to make it for my dad when I visited him for the weekend. To make a long story short I ended up with banana soup in a pie crust. We still laugh over this 18 years later!
