About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook breakfast, BBQ hamburgers, seafood, roasts, BBQ steaks, mushroom porkchops, cabbage rolls, perogis, my special mashed potatoes and I love to cook meals for a large group. The more they eat the happier I am.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas day dinner, Easter, Thanksgiving, and pretty much every other day of the year, just make good food and watch them eat it.
My cooking triumphs
Putting a feast together in less than 24 hours for 138 people.
My cooking tragedies
Guess I'm lucky, I don't have any as of yet. I came from a long line of cooks and I learned all of the old tricks.

Cabbage Rolls II
Fabulous recipe, I followed the suggestions about making more sauce and we thoroughly enjoyed every last kernel of rice, hamburger and sauce. Thanks for sharing. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

Sunday Chicken Supper
This is a great recipe. Made it today and my husband loved it and so did I. I made 2 modifications, firstly I never had any green beans so I didn't add them and second I added seasoning salt with no MSG to the vegtable layer, the potatoe layer and to the chicken breast layer. Next time I will add one can of chicken broth and 1/2 cup of water instead of 2 chicken broth. I used seasoned breasts so there was no worry of the chicken being dry. Recipe is great, thank you so much for sharing..
