I'm 32. I've been cooking since I was a little girl. I remember coming home from school and making a snack in front of an "audience". I'd say things like, "I already have one made." And pull the peanut butter and jelly sandwich out of the oven.
I'm married and have a daughter, Josephine. She is 19 months old and at a great age where I can introduce new meals to her. I don't want her to be a chicken nugget kid.

My cooking triumphs
Every once in awhile I get lucky and make something terrific. I quickly add it to my recipe box as something my husband and daughter loved. Then when I'm in a pinch for something tasty, I pull out those "successes" and make those.
My cooking tragedies
I once made an omelette for a guy I was dating. I tried to get fancy and put some different herbs into it. I made it. Served it. And after I took ONE bite I realized what I did. I PUT LEMON PEPPER in my eggs!! YUCK! He was very gracious and tried to choke it down. I felt like such a blockhead.
