Harvey Ham Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2012
Turned out very good! Cooked on high for 4 hours and low for 2, then shredded and kept on warm for about two hours. Also I had a 7 pound ham, used almost 2 cups of sugar and probably 6 ounces of mustard bc I hate mustard and was afraid to add all of it. Was perfect for our football party. Served on potato slider rolls with pickles and bandanna peppers. Got rave reviews!

Blooming Onion and Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2011
Outstanding! I'm not sure why other reviewers said the sauce doesn't taste like Outback, mine sure did! I used regular horseradish and used less than 2 tablespoons. I made it the night before I served it. The onion cutting was easy, I did not cut the root. The battering was a mess and kind of a pain, but worth it in the end. The batter tasted just like Outback. This was SPOT ON Outback's version!

Oh my goodness. This pie is AMAZING. I used a refrigerated pie crust and added cinnamon to the mixture. BEST PIE EVER! Will be making for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Made these for a second time today and they were great! I only made half of the recipe and followed 1/2 of all ingredients, no changes. Very soft and delicious!

I cut back the sugar to about 1/4 cup, turned out wonderful! Be sure to make in advance, as the longer it sits the creamier and delicious it gets!

Yep, delicious! The serranos are key in this recipe, I had no idea how spicy they are and I love it! Will definitely be making many many times.

Enchiladas Verdes

So tasty! Very glad that I tried this. Roasting makes all the difference. This recipe does take a little longer, but I had the time, so no big deal. The verde sauce is delicious, don't change a thing, especially the frying of tortillas. The cheese is a MUST! Served with beans and homemade guac, reheated well. Will be making this again!

Cheesy Ranch Potato Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2010
W.O.W. This was delicious and so easy. Based on other reviews, I cut the butter down to 2 tbs, which was perfect. Next time I'll add some bacon and it will taste just like cheese fries! I think you could make this in advance by cooking the potatoes, letting them cool and refrigerate. The next day, mix in the ranch/cheese, and reheat in the oven. This will be my new go to BBQ side dish. Delicious!

French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2010
I was hesistant to try this, since a lot of the reviews said it was soggy. Glad I tired it! I used a whole bag of cinnamon raisin bread (16 ounces). The night before cooking, I cut each piece into 4 squares. Also, mixed the eggs, milk, sugar, salt and vanilla the night before. In the morning, I mixed the bread with the egg mixture, put in a 8x8 pan and let sit for 10 minutes. I cooked it for about an hour. While the middle was slightly soggy, it was totally fine, similiar to bread pudding. And no problem with the food sticking to the dish. Overall, the guests LOVED it and I will be making again very soon! FYI it only feed about 4 adults. Enjoy!

Weekend Brunch Casserole

Very good! I used cheddar instead of mozzarella. After lining the bottom of the pan with the dough, I pricked it with a form and prebaked for about 6 minutes. Very tasty!

These were good. Way too much butter and WAY too much of the sugar mix that you put on top. I would cut those ingredients back to 1/4 a cup next time!

Wild Rice Harvest Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
This was really really good! I prepped it early in the day to allow for the 1 hour 45 minute cook time. I wanted to put in the dried cranberries, but completely forgot to. The end product was amazing! I used fresh mushrooms as that is what I had on hand. It was a little dry at the end so I added some extra broth. I don't think I'll cook it as long next time. GREAT winter comforting dish, can't wait to make again!

Chicken Enchilada Dip

It was good but I made a few changes. I used 8 ounces of green chile peppers, added a can of rinsed and drained black beans, and added about half a packet of dry taco seasoning. With these changes it turned out amazing!

OK, so I'm not a big egg casserole fan...but this was really really good! It was so easy, the only change I made was to use 6 eggs and did not add the dry mustard. Assembled in the night before and just popped it in the oven that morning. Looking forward to making again. GREAT RECIPE!

Turned out great. I was hesitant to use a filet Mignon, but glad I did, it was so tender and easy to work with. The bacon didn't get crispy enough for us, so we ended up taking it off before eating, but end result was still amazing. Glad I tried this one out!

Baked Ziti I

This was great! Gave it four stars because I made the following changes: used hot Italian sausage, used half ricotta cheese and half sour cream, didn't really measure it out. Provolone cheese is a must! Made the night before we went skiing and ate it after we got off the slopes, got rave reviews and feed 8 people! Thanks for a great recipe.
