Beef Stew III

Beef Stew III
A good base recipe, however I made some changes by marinating the beef cubes with some salt & HP sauce - u can add more to the stew later on according to your taste. I also added garlic together with the onions after browning the meat & instead of just adding water, I also added a can of campbell's french onion soup made from beef stock, large egg noodles & green peas. Delicious!

Butter Roast Chicken
Tasty! I omitted the lemon juice & used fresh thyme leaves instead & fried the chicken instead of grilling/roasting as there was an electrical problem associated with the use of my oven at home....but all turned out well - crispy tasty brown skin and succulent buttery juicy meat, served with stir fried potatoes with olive oil & fresh thyme leave & a sprinkle of salt (was meant to have been roasted potatoes) :)

Lemon Pound Cake III
great recipe indeed & i followed it as is, but the only problem is that i didnt change the scaling and the default 16 servings recipe is way too much (oh, i didnt use a tube pan, but a regular 10" round pan) - & the cake mix was enough for two of my cake pans so next time I will just halve the recipe portions. perfect moist pound cake texture - delicious taste! i tried my hand at making glaze from melting 1/3 cup butter with 1 cup powder sugar - now that didnt work....it just kinda turned out too dry (not of drizzle consistency) & I didnt know how to fix that. Other than my glaze problem, a GREAT cake recipe.
