Braised Pork Ragu

Good flavors and easy to prepare. I would like to try this in the crock pot next time; just throw all ingreds in there and let it do its thing all day!

Risotto alla Milanese

Good risotto. I carmelized the onions, rather than just cooking til soft. Highly recommend doing this! Also, I did not use the beef marrow and it was still very flavorful.

Red Beans and Rice

This was a terrific red beans and rice recipe!! My husband said, "You could win awards with this dinner!" WOW!!!! Thanks so much--and I didn't even need the ham hock; it's delicious with some good andouille sausage!

Oh.my.goodness! How yummy are these?! This recipe is phenomenal and my whole family really enjoyed their "puppies"! Thank you so much; will def. make again. Only change was that I needed three eggs instead of 2.

WOW!!! Thank you so much for leading me to Kitchen Success with a jelly-roll cake!!! I have tried for years unsuccessfully and this time it actually came out perfect!!! Pork Supreme

This was a quick and tasty way to use up our leftover pork loin. Everyone enjoyed it; the only changes that I made were to eliminate the lemon juice and double the brown sugar...I also carmelized the onions and only used 1. It was a winner!

Cream Cheese Snowball Cookies

Let me start out with the good news: The taste is FANTASTIC! These are exactly the cookies that I remember from my childhood! The bad news: Not sure if I mis-measured, but my "balls" ended up as regular cookies (had to call them "Sunny Day Snowballs" because they looked like puddles!) Oh, well! My fam is not particular about the shape, so we are happy with this recipe. Will try to add more flour next time around.

Slow Cooked Teriyaki Venison

BEAUTIFUL! Everyone raved about this recipe that I prepared with venison freshly-butchered from the field (my little 13-year old neighbor's first deer!!). It is a wonderful recipe that cooks up with ZERO gaminess and a lot of yummy flavor. Will def use again!

Slow Cooker Fruit, Nuts, and Spice Oatmeal

Is putting zero stars an option? I followed the directions exactly (which I guess was my big mistake) and when I woke up this morning it was a congealed, burned mess! Now that I am reading the reviews, I realize there were some things that needed to be changed; such as decreasing the heat to "warm" instead of "low" and adding a lot more liquid. Still, it is incredibly frustrating to me that a recipe with a rating of almost 4 stars just plain DOESN'T WORK unless you modify it in very significant ways. I was very disappointed by this recipe and will not attempt it again, even with the sage advice of the other posters.

Marinated Pork Loin

Also a great way to make pork loin on the grill; it had never occurred to me to cut the loin and grill them as little chops. The result was a juicy, delicious meal!
