My name is Heather. I am a baker at heart! It is my one true passion in life. I am always baking cakes and cookies. I love when my kids birthdays come around every year, so I can try to top my creation from the year prior. I enjoy cooking as well. I'm always wanting to learn and try new things! Island chicken and anything Mexican! Growing up we never really had cooking traditions. I do try very hard have them with my two children. We make cut-out cokies for every holiday. My son is the person who cracks the eggs when they are needed. Fall and Winter time are the best! My husband, two children and myself make Apple-butter. We finally have it down, it our own little secret. we make it every year and give to friends and family. Now our families request more or bigger jars of it. ;) This is going to sound silly! When I first moved away from home I had never cooked before. My boyfriend at the time (now Husband) taught me how to make eggs and toast. To me that was a big deal. I told you it was silly :) I'm pround to say now days a can make some of the best cheesy scrambled eggs!
