I have made this on several occasions for pot locks, etc. and have always gotten rave reviews. Instead of chopping up pepperoni, I just used Hormel mini pepperoni which keeps the same flavour but more pleasing to the eye.

This is the BEST chili I have ever tasted!! I left out the Cayenne and chili powder because I ran out, and it was still delish! My husband is more of a picky eater than our kids (ages 5,3,2,1) but he gobbled it up and it wasn't too spicy for the little ones.

I've made these cookies numerous times and have always gotten praise for them. The one thing I will say is that you MUST follow the recipe EXACTLY as is and do not hurry through any of the steps. I think the secret ingredient is patience. I've also noticed that every oven is VERY different, and you can get some varying results if you don't compensate for your oven.
