Jared & I
About this Cook
Wife(Nicci) Three Children (Jared 5 yrs old, Ashlyn & Brooke (Born 3/16)) Two Pugs (Khobie & Gabby)
My favorite things to cook
Fish (Pan Fried & Baked), Chili, Lasagna, Tacos, Steak, & Shrimp Creole. Hot dogs are not hard to cook, but being from Chicago, I make a mean Chicago Style Hot Dog with all the fixings.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We just moved into our 'dream house' in October 2007. We held Thanksgiving for our family and it was fantastic in our new kitchen. So, we plan on making some of the receipes we used for our traditions.
My cooking triumphs
My wife & I made the recipe 'World's Best Lasagna' and we loved it. Thanksgiving 2007 we made various appetizer recipes and everyone in our family raved about how wonderful they all tasted. Also, I made the Southern Pulled Pork and it was the hit of our party. Everyone loved it.
My cooking tragedies
A really bad Chili once. (Added too much sugar.)

Garbage Fried Potatoes
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I had to add some additional spices/items of my own to add some more flavor. I kicked it up with some garlic salt & cayenne pepper. After potatoes were done, I sprinkled some parmesan cheese along with some shredded cheddar. VERY GOOD!!

Southern Pulled Pork
I made this for a family party. I impressed my father-in-law & brother-in-law with the taste of this recipe. That is not an easy task to accomplish. They are both 'country' boys and love their pulled pork. Great Recipe!!
