Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
So good! I changed things up a bit but that was to fit what was in my fridge/cupboard. I used 1 can of the cream chicken soup and 1 can of chicken stock + a bit of water. I added some celery and baby carrots (sliced lengthways, a couple of cubed up potatoes and some garlic. Then I thickened the liquid with 1/3 of a cup of flour mixed with 1/3 of a cup of water. Looked really good at this point and then I used 1.5 cups of Bisquick and 1/2 a cup of milk to make the dumplings dropped into the slow cooker by the spoonful, put the lid on for 35 minutes and wowsers!! Delicious.
