I am married (happily) for 17 years with 2 great kids 9 and 11. I have a dog and guinea pig. I love the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. I have also recently enjoyed learning about different kinds of wines.
My favorite things to cook
Marinading and grilling. Mexican dishes and appetizers. Love to host parties and surprise my guests with something yummy and new while keeping a few favorites in. I also love baking bread with my new bread machine. My next challenge will be to make my own pasta.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making Christmas cookies with my mom. Now I bake them with my kids each year.

Waffles I
I made these for my daughters sleepover and all 3 girls gave it 5 stars. Had great flavor and texture.

Herbed Onion Bread
This bread was delicious and exactly what I was looking for. It reminded me of my best friends growing up and their dad would make this for Christmas every year for all of us neighbors.

Scim's Fettucine Alfredo with Shrimp
Very easy and delicious. I did add some fresh minced garlic to the sauce.
