Fiber One® Chocolate-Peanut Butter Haystacks

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
I had to be a non-conformist and made this using peanut butter chips & dark chocolate peanut butter. The kids loved it and the peanut butter really went well with the Fiber One.

Honey Lime Chicken Wings

rather than frying - I baked these at 400 for 40mins and then brushed glaze on every 5 minutes until I was out of glaze so about 60 mins total cooking time - absolute MVP of our Super Bowl menu

Tomato Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
I cooked this on high for 4hrs and the beef came out very tender. The stroganoff seasoning was a bit salty and the dish could benefit by the addition of an extra cup of egg noodles. Overall a nice dish that we will definitely make again.

Maybe a little too spicy for this chilihead but what great flavors and how easy to make. This is a keeper that you can play with to suit your family flavor profile.

I didn't follow the recipe faithfully but the idea & methodology are right there. This is how I will handle every rib roast from now on. Thanks

They were good but a little too cakey and not enough chips. I will add butter, bake less and add more chips next time.

Slow Cooker Mole-Style Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2011
Not bad but not great. Like most Campbell's recipes it really needed salt & pepper. I served it on Day 2 "Memphis Style" with Cole Slaw on top and it was much improved. Will try again and will play with it a bit.

Campbell's Kitchen Country Chicken Casserole

A good preview for Thanksgiving with this dish but it needed SALT and GRAVY. While moist, it just screams for the wet of some good gravy.

Crescent Pizza Pockets

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2011
It's a mini-calzone that needs MORE. We did tweak the recipe by dropping the pepperoni and we used 3 cheeses. The crescents still soaked up too much so there wasn't enough gooeyness when we bit in. I married into an italian family so this one was held to very high standards. I doubt very much that I will make it again.

Pulled Chicken Crescents

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2011
A good concept but it was missing something. We made it exactly as stated and we all felt it needed more of a kick to it. We did just use a basic store bought BBQ sauce in a bottle so maybe that had something to do with it. I'll try it again but I will kick up the BBQ, add some grilled/sauteed onions and a lot more cheese. Thanks

Out of this World Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
This got mixed reviews at a cookout yesterday. Some thought it was too much ranch and others loved it. I thought it could have used a little less dressing and maybe something to give it a little kick. Also went to 3 stores and could not find Alien Broccoli or Whole Wheat Wagon Wheel Pasta - went with regular broccoli & tri coloe shapes with wagon wheels. We will try it again with some twists.

We loved it. I actually had to use Blood Orange Marmalade and it was great. Only thing I would do differently is add some salt & pepper. Otherwise, this one is a definite keeper.

Lime Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2011
Sorry but this just didn't do it for me and I love Lime Jello. The cabbage was bland and felt like a mouthful when the jello was gone. We did use pecans instead of walnuts and they were the best part of the dish. I will say it does look great.

Summer Squash and Onion Cheesy Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2011
It was good but in the future I will cook the onions ahead of time as they came out a bit on the crunchy side. I will also up the temp as at 350 for 30 mins, it didn't brown and there was a little too much liquid. I may also leave the skin on as it is a little monochromatic.

Lighter Cream of Mango Soup

This almost the exact recipe that my wife uses. She does add the bluberries and I sometimes add a little hot sauce. This summer I even plan to try some in the ice cream maker.
