About this Cook
I am a true foodie born and raised by foodies. My mother has instilled in me homemade cooking is way better than store bought. It may look good in a bakery display but it will never taste as great as it looks. Homemade is filled with love from your heart. I love to search for new recipes in my spare time if not reading. If you can't find me in my kitchen more than likely you will find me working for my poop business for pets or conducting legal research for the law firm I work for. otherwise I spend the rest of my time with family and friends through my church. I love life and what god has blessed me with.
My favorite things to cook
Just about everything. Especially desserts. NO meal is complete without the sweet.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Birthday meals and homemade cakes. Xmas cookies. And my new tradition brought by my new awesome sister in law homemade perogies. YUMMY!!!
My cooking triumphs
Becoming creative with Birthday cakes and confident in decorating without classes. And experimenting with recipes and adding and deleting without trying first. With experience and years of attempting builds confidence with the spice rack.
My cooking tragedies
UM let's see not burning water really! and not setting the house on fire by leaving plastic utensils in frying pans with stove on. Ha. ha. This was of course years ago. Thank goodness.

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars
These are like the dream bars at potbelly. And super easy to make part of my xmas cookies every year. Very rich.

Caramel Apple Dip
This is good but if you think it going to be like having a affy tapple it's not. That is my favorite and instead of looking for a substitute I would rather satisfy my craving and just eat a real affy tapple
