This is really good, and my family enjoys it. we like things really spicy so we do use hot salsa. The meatballs were bland so second time I used garlic, basil, oregano, and some fresh pepper. Much better. I serve with warm bread. A wonderful satisfying meal. Thanks!

Baby Back Ribs

These were amazing. Made my own BBQ sauce from scratch and marinated all night. Put in the oven and finished these on the grill for about 15 minutes. They were gone in a flash!

I have been meaning to rate this recipe for a long time. I make this exactly as is, but many times double the recipe for cook outs and family events. Everyone loves this recipe and it is super easy. We have been enjoying it all summer long. Thanks!

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2009
This was an easy and delicious way to make chicken. Instead of garlic salt I used garlic powder as we aren't big on salty foods. I also baked on a low rack on top of a cookie sheet so that both sides were crispy and brown. The family loved it. Served with fried potatoes and green beans for a quick week day meal. Thanks.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

I love this dip! Everywhere I take it everyone loves it and asks for the recipe! I usually add some diced fresh jalapeno's to really kick it up and do half mayo and half sour cream. This has become a favorite dip of ours. Thanks!!!

Stuffed Jalapenos III

These are awesome! I made a few small adjustments. I used whole slices of bacon on mine, left a few of the seeds in for more heat and used a flavored cream cheese (garlic and chive). These are a hit everywhere I take them! Thanks!

Tomato and Mozzarella Bites

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2009
These were pretty good. I do recommend that you use a flavored mozzarella. I used a smoked one and it tasted so much better than when I used the plain. Pretty on a plate and received pretty good reviews from those I served it too. Thanks.

Bacon Water Chestnut Rolls

If I could give these more stars I would!!! They disappeared at the holidays in the blink of an eye and I doubled the batch!! I did double the sauce...used some while baking it and some for dipping when served. I also inserted toothpicks to make it easier to grab and eat. Will make again and again....Super Bowl Sunday will certainly see many of these appetizers on our table...I may try this sauce with shrimp too....the sauce is simply divine!!! Thanks!!!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2008
After all of the great reviews for this recipe...I have to admit I was a bit disappointed. The fruit became mushy and kind of soupy. I took the advice of a lot of reviewers to tweak that issue, but overall it was one of the only dishes on our holiday appetizer table that went almost untouched.

Crab Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2008
Made this for the holidays with a few changes. I used Old Bay Seasoning (A BIG MUST!!), added a little more lemon juice, used chive cream cheese, and also added some fresh minced garlic. Also sprinkled with cheese before cooking...and it was great! Even the kids loved it. I love serving it in the bread bowl...will make again! Thanks!!

Bacon and Tomato Cups

These got mixed review over the holiday. People either loved them or hated them. I did cut back on the mayo but the main complaint was the mayo taste. Might make again and play around with th recipe, but won't make again as is. I personally liked them, but I am a mayo lover..

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2007
If I could give this more stars I would!!! I only made 2 little changes...I cut back on the nutmeg, and instead of 3 cups white sugar, I used 2 cups white, 1 cup light brown sugar. This bread was so moist and yummy. I made three loaves for Thanksgiving and it was gone in the blink of an eye. I have already been asked to triple the recipe for the Christmas holidays!! Thanks for a new family favorite!!!

White Chili with Ground Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
This was good, but I did make a few changes. I cut the broth to 2 cups to give it more of a chili texture..not soupy. I also did not like it with the cinnamon the 1st time so now I make it without it. I add some diced jalapeno for more kick and top with sour cream. Easy and quick meal and a nice change from regualr chili. Thanks!

Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
This was pretty good. I did not use 1 cup milk, cut back to 1/2 cup. I added chopped onion and fresh garlic and a little more cheese. I also have made it with diced green and red pepper and sometimes with mushrooms. I also did not use ketchup just because my little ones wont eat it/. This was an easy alternative to meatloaf...even my picky eaters loved it. Thanks.

Spicy Slow Cooker Black Bean Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2007
I am giving this 4 stars because I changed it up a bit. This is a good base recipe. I used 4 cans black beans(drained) and only 3 cups of broth. I added 1 can spicy diced tomatoes, 3 cloves minced garlic, 1 small diced yellow onion. I also doubled the cayenne, jalapeno, and cumin....we really like it spicy. I also added some chopped cilantro and a tbsp fresh lime juice. An hour before serving I put half of the soup in the blender and returned to crock pot. This made it thicker. I served with sour cream and shredded cheese on top. It was spicy....yummy and gone in a heartbeat! Will make it again.
