On our honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico
About this Cook
We are just married! June 10th was our wedding day.
My favorite things to cook
BBQ! Not to be confused with grilling ;)
My cooking triumphs
Incredible Spareribs. I bought 2 racks from Sam's Club weighing in at ~5lbs each. They turned out great with a rub, a nice mop and about 4 1/2 hours with a gentle smoke on my CharGriller Super Pro!
My cooking tragedies
My first try at smoking a 4 1/2lb pork butt turned out a little beyond Carolina Style. It was extremely salty and had to be rinsed extensively to be bearable to eat. Not a total tragedy but disappointing after 6 hours of smoking it. Now our first try at homemade pizza.... that's a different story! We could not get the crust to cooperate. In the end we had so much flour and a pizza that looked more like a strombolli but it sure didn't taste like one.

Feta Chicken
My Wife and I are not real big on cheeses outside of the normal american, swiss, cheddar.... so we were a little shaky on trying this recipe. Wow, were we wrong! It turned out great! We will definitely have this again but maybe with the addition of a white sauce of some sort.
